So I’m in the process of RESTRUCTURING my time management skills so that I can handle doing all the twenty-million tasks I have before me.  One big thing is to get in the mode of handling ZeVin Creations at the same time working a full-time job and being a mother.    Our goal is to launch a updated site/etsy site this weekend — start fresh for August!

There are no big holidays approaching this week… BUT I’m sure wherever you live School Time is fast approaching.  Do you have a soon to be freshman in college or a soon to be kindergartner in your life?  Well starting this weekend we will post some “Back To School” cards and tips.

Ask yourself — do I need to send some cards out this week?  If the answer is yes you better verify the address, pick a handmade greeting for that special person in your life, and put it in the mail or hand deliver!

I can’t believe it is almost the end of July — I tell you the new job kind of consumed my life these past couple of weeks — I really have TERRIBLE TIME MANAGEMENT problems when it comes to juggling full-time career, being a mother, and then studying for graduate degree….. But today kicked off me getting in a routine of things since in like two weeks my little one starts school so we really have to have a routine!

With July almost over I want to focus the next couple of Monday’s getting you in the preparation mode for the upcoming late summer/fall and winter holidays.  Can you believe in about

  • 154 days we will be celebrating Hanukkah
  • 162 days we will be celebrating Christmas
  • 163 days we will be celebrating Kwanzaa

So why not go ahead and start thinking about what style of card you’d like to send, prepare your list of people you want to send a card to, and purchase those unique cards for the right person!

We will be reviving our Etsy site this week so with that being said I’m going to post some “Winter In July” style cards on there for people to start their Winter Card shopping!

First I want to say thanks for dealing with my absence!  Can you believe it’s been like three weeks since I’ve written — with the new job and trying to get in a routine I’d always forget to blog… Well I’m finally in a semi-routine and I’m on a major to-do list/organize thyself Goal!

I first want to thank you for being patient with our delay in posting — you know I never thought the death would affect me but it did.  And I appreciate you handling with our absence.

While we were absent I (Maranda) got some major news — Starting in July I will be a full-time educator at a local university!!  Not planning on this affecting my ability to handle ZeVin Creations but we will see when school officially starts.  My plans is to do work on cards and stuff on the weekends and still post daily and try to be better organized when handling things.  Wish me luck!

Some good news for ZeVin Creations is we participated in our first Beechmont Farmer’s Market this past Saturday (June 14) and we did pretty good — especially not having as much in inventory as we’d hope.  Our plans are to participate at least twice a month between June and October and have various cards be our focus each time.  We will be launching our summer cards this coming weekend so if your in the Louisville Area please stop by(I’ll put more information up later this week)!
