As stated in an earlier post -
Be it a soldier, veteran, or just a family member/friend take these holidays as an excuse to write them a hello. To let them know they crossed your mind, that you are grateful for what they do, or just your form of appreciation for who they are. And if you are going to a celebration the card serves as a great thank you!To add that extra touch why not also provide a special gift with your patriotic card. Today might actually be 4th of July but these gift items are perfect as tokens of appreciation to your hostess, as a belated birthday gift (those 4th of July babies), or part of a care package to a soldier/veteran – very universal.
We love the way J Rotem Gear incorporates cultures and urban flair to her designs for t-shirts. The 2 designs above really spoke the July 4th concept to us.. you could give a thank you host gift to that firework lover you know or a thinking of you gift to the summer loving friend you know. Better yet you could just get them for yourself to wear!

While lingering around on Etsy we came across these unique candles.. couldn’t resist mentiong this as a great gift item — especially to a host of a 4th of July festivity. The shop - Indulging Scentsations - carries a wide selection of products but have to say her candles are eye-catchers.
Another Etsy find – PIEFACE – is producing 15 Artist Trading Cards themed around 4th of July. With Maranda having a good friend overseas this card spoke to her as a great gift to give to a soldier or veteran to express thanks. You can take it a step further by framing it if you desire.
We hope that these suggested gift items inspire you to use July 4th as a gift-giving opportunity so you can continue Making Gifts Within A Card.

I have to say I particularly like the candles!
